Breastfeeding protects newborns from getting sick and has positive impacts throughout infancy and early childhood. As with all confirmed of suspected COVID-19 cases, however, mothers with any symptoms who are breastfeeding or practicing skin-to-skin contact should take precautions.

This document includes advice for breastfeeding during the COVID-19 pandemic.
