The Global Nutrition Cluster (GNC) has launched several project agreements in order to actively address some of the identified gaps in nutrition in emergencies, one of which is this revised version intended as a practical guide to design, implement, monitor and evaluate selective feeding programmes in emergency situations. This publication investigates the following two key questions: 1. Which type and combination of selective feeding programmes are required? 2. How should each be implemented?
The target audience of this guide includes nutrition experts, programme managers and decision-makers in the United Nations (UN) system, government officials within relevant ministries, donor agencies and non-governmental organizations.
