Journal of Human Lactation

It is the position of the International Lactation Consultant Association that supporting their wellbeing should be a priority of governments, aid agencies, health workers, and members of the public. Such support should include assistance for exclusive and continued breastfeeding, safe artificial feeding where breastfeeding or provision of human milk is not possible, and appropriate complementary feeding for all infants and young children.
