Joint Statement on Nutrition in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic in Asia and the Pacific

The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting household incomes, food supply chains, health services and schools negatively. In this joint statement, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the World Food Program (WPF) and the World Health Organization (WHO) are calling upon all governments, donors and partners to take action to protect the nutritional status of the most vulnerable in Asia and the Pacific, as well as implementing appropriate infection prevention control measures.
