This resource from Action Contre la Faim (ACF) aims to increase the effectiveness of our humanitarian programmes and responses, recognising that it is essential that field workers understand the social and psychological impact of different types of humanitarian crisis on populations to provide guidance on how to integrate this operational responses. The document looks at specific psychosocial impact on communities, families and children for each crisis situation. The document is intended for those who, in the field as well as at headquarters, develop and / or intervene in ACF programming in humanitarian crisis situations, with or without training in the field of psychology.
